A group of friends, headed up by Carlos Montoya, headed out to Union Square on Sunday afternoon for a hug-a-thon. I had my camera handy and had never realized how hugs create smiles. The group of huggers even got a big smile from Ted Danson. And, yes, Mr. Danson got a hug, too!

HAIR opened on Thursday, March 31 to a rave review in The New York Times. Everything about the production is wonderful: the cast, the score, the direction, the choreography. May the revival run for many years!

On Monday, February 9, Broadway Backwards 4, a gender-reversed benefit concert extravaganza for New York City’s LGBT Center took place at Broadway’s American Airlines Theatre.
